Mere Sapno Ki Rani (English: Queen of my dreams) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Allu Aravind and C. Ashwini Dutt. It stars Sanjay Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, and Madhoo. The film was a remake of Telugu film Pelli Sandadi.

Plot
The film revolves around Vijay Kumar (Sanjay Kapoor), an unemployed daydreamer who has one goal in his life, which is to marry his dream-girl. His dad (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) has other plans, to get him married to Vandana (Madhoo), the daughter of his friend, Rajnath Nehle (Satyendra Kapoor). While at a wedding ceremony, Vijay actually gets to see the girl from his dreams, appropriately named Sapna (Urmila Matondkar), both meet and decide they are meant for each other, little knowing that Sapna is none other than Vandana's sister; and an admirer of Sapna, Bobby, will not stop at anything to make Sapna his wife.

Music
The music of the film was composed by Anand-Milind and the lyrics were written by Dev Kohli. Two songs ("Ye Pyaar Ye Pyaar" and "Bagiya Ke Amrud") were reused from the original Telugu film. The soundtrack consists of 10 songs, sung by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Vinod Rathod, Abhijeet, Jolly Mukherji, Sadhana Sargam and Bela Sulakhe. Some of the popular songs are:
"Choli Ke Peeche" - A peppy dance number featuring Sanjay Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar.
